Juris Medicus Billing Supervisor Betty Garcia has been a great addition to our billing department during the past three years. Betty is very knowledgeable in her role and is always there to assist her teammates with a smile on her face. 

Q: How and why did you get into this industry?

A: I have more than 20 years of experience in both medical and professional service billing. Joining Juris Medicus was an incredible opportunity to match my knowledge and skills with a growing company and see the incredible possibilities come to fruition.

Q: What accomplishments at JM are you most proud of?

A: I am proud of the billing team that I have helped mentor and develop. I enjoy sharing my knowledge so they can grow in their careers with JM.

Q: What do you think sets JM apart from competitors or other companies?

A: We provide a wide range of highly qualified experts and make customer service our number one priority.

Q: How do JM’s core values align with your own?

A: We value working as a team within all departments and honoring our relationships with experts and clients. It’s important to lead by example and help others grow while promoting self-growth.

Q: If you were a client, what would you find most valuable about the process at JM? 

A: The JM process results in a high-quality product. We focus on excellence and open communication to provide great customer service.

Q: Are there any other stories/memories you’d like to share?

A: As we were outgrowing our previous office space, I opted to move into a cubicle within the case manager area. It was an incredible opportunity to better understand their challenges and work as a team with them on difficult cases. It gave me respect for all that they do behind the scenes and enabled me to create a solid relationship between our departments. 

Q: Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself or your role at JM? 

A: I am a creative individual and have enjoyed building a fun environment for my department and coworkers to flourish. Decorating for holidays and being able to boost morale is something that fills my cup.
