While orthopedic medical experts are commonly requested for personal injury disputes involving car accidents, it is critical to find the right orthopedic expertise for each unique matter. At Juris Medicus, we identify our client's specific medical expert needs and find the exact match in our network. Primary Care Issue: Our client represented an individual who was being sued for their involvement in a car accident. The client needed a recommendation for an orthopedic spine expert, specifically a cervical disc replacement surgeon. Expert Witness Requirements: The client wanted the expert to be board-certified, specialize in orthopedic spine surgery, have competitive fellowship and deposition experience, and be located in San Antonio, Texas. Case Manager Expert Witness Search: A dedicated case manager searched through Juris Medicus’ expert panel of more than medical experts to find three top orthopedic spine experts that fit the client’s requirements. The case manager sent the experts’ CVs and fee schedules to our client within hours of their initial request. Expert Witness Placement: Our client chose one board-certified orthopedic spine medical expert who was fellowship trained to review their client’s case. Case Results: After the deposition, the case was settled. Learn More Let Juris Medicus help you find the best medical expert for your case. https://www.jurismedicus.net/expert-panel
Our Case Management department is an integral part of the Juris Medicus team. Every case that comes to us is managed by a paralegal who understands the time constraints and obligations that attorneys and medical experts have. Director of Case Management Robyn Priest has been at Juris Medicus (JM) for nearly 6 years, and she is a rockstar at leading her team and empowering her colleagues daily. Q: How did you get into this industry? A: I was a litigation paralegal for 20 years and was looking for a career change while still using my paralegal and law firm management experience. JM was a growing company looking for new employees with a legal background. Almost 6 years later, I still find it exciting and interesting. Q: How did you find and why did you choose JM? A: It was a referral from a former co-worker. She had been employed at the company for several years and spoke highly of our founder Dr. Meadows, as well as the company culture and core values. Q: What do you like most about your specific department and/or role? A: The people. We are a great team and work hard to timely meet every client deadline while working with our experts to provide quality and excellence in every case. Q: What do you think sets JM apart from competitors or other companies? A: Customer service. We strive each day to provide top-notch customer service to not only our clients, but also our experts. Q: How do JM’s core values align with your own? JM has five core values: Ownership Thinking, Humble Confidence, Quality & Excellence, Honor the Relationship, and Operate as One. I believe all the core values align with my own. Each one has a very important role in being successful as an employee and in my day-to-day interactions. “Honor the Relationship” is a big one for me. It is important in any relationship to be dependable and always do the right thing. My actions directly affect others, and I want to ensure that it is always a positive experience for them.
